Do you fully understand what the word WORLD means? Everyone that is involved in the Education system will be at the forum. Why single the Education Minister out with the BS talk. She is on a working trip. You mentioned she can fly off to London but cannot reach Anegada. So tell me, how was she supposed to fly to London, on a prehistoric dinosaur with wings like you see on the Flintstones?
      • Understand this (08/05/2023, 12:30) Like (16) Dislike (1) Reply
She needs to be singled out for several reasons and for those who do not like it that is your right just as it is my right to lay it out for you. And do not insult my intelligence by saying she is working or by asking if I know what the World means! I sure do. And hear this BVI is PART of the World and guess what? ANEGADA is part of the BVI though it seems some of you trying to ignore that until you want to shake your ass and eat your tummies full at LF every November! Okay! So she wants to fly to London. So be it whether a plane, helicopter ir as you so childishly uttered, a damn dinosaur, we the people of Anegada do not care about that! What we care about is the fact that she, along with the CEO of Education has totally written off the school and in essence the students who attend! Never to step foot here right next door from Tortola?? Unless it is time for graduation? Not addressing pressing issues! Ignoring teachers who witness wrongdoing and corruptiom in the school. Ignoring parents. Accepting inappropriate actions of current and former principals and making excuses!! You need to comment on what you know about for this for sure you have no clue

clever planning. fly on the 5th, land on the 6. ( probably chills all day 6th because the government paid for first class seats on BA or AA still require government officials a day of rest upon arrival) UK is closed from 8th 9th and 10th for the coronation and reopens on the 11th. according to the press release, she is back home on the 12th.
how many travel with her on this official business i wonder. these trips, the expenses should be made public, for all government officials.

The Education Minister is away attending the Education World Forum. You are acting like she is on vacation and shopping at Harrods and riding the tube. Some of you make me sick with the constant whining and complaining. Since you feel the DOE needs to be sued then by all means go and file and stop the complaining okay????

As well be a vacation..taxpayers $$$ so where is the value for money? The person did not say she was shopping or riding or whatever you just said

I think the point made was that she finds her way to where she wants to go and Anegada is not on list. Guess you being part of represented area which is Tortola would not understand or care so this explanation will fly over your head and other likeminded ones

yes sorry, i screwed up on the dates...my appigies and i retract what i said on the timeing in my blog. however, i am absolutly not sorry for asking why all these trips are first class and also we the public should ve able to have access to how that money is spent..who accompanies them. point in case, hon Turnbuls trip to egypt and his internet costs..a simple purchase of a local sim with data cuts all of that out. these ministers need to travel as if they are personally having to pay for the trip. simple business class seat for abyone other that the premier, reasonable hotel rooms, ..ru it like business, bot an open chequebook. a simple thing like using the american airlines business account where by all of the awarded airmiles go to a givernment account to be used for free travel as opposed to the individual who is travelling. we cant afford basic things in schools, savings in this way on travel over a year adds up and can be used for better things than a few hours of extra comfort on a flight is all im saying

Most governments official stays at the best hotels, where others official are staying the do have meet and greets. There is no riding the tube or taking the Uber. All officials has to be careful in foreign lands, understand government by reading their international policies. Most are oblivious of what planning goes on when these government officials leaves these islands. Stop whining about minute things. It is always about the silly bits of pence.

Mold affects people in different ways. Some right away, some years later. Teachers, if you are pregnant or plan to get pregnant, transfer or quit first. Surely toxic air and water can potentially cause unfavorable outcomes. Govt offices close and workers are moved or work from home in Tortola but in Anegada business as usual guess wha?
