HoA meets with Legislation related to Beneficial Ownership in Committee stage

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The 13th Sitting of the 3rd Session of the 4th House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands (VI) is scheduled to meet this morning, December 20, 2021, as members opt for a virtual sitting.

The continuation will be held in Committee stage with the Beneficial Ownership Secure Search System (Amendment) Act, 2021, according to HoA Assistant Information officer Tameeka Goerge.

The original act was to established a secure search system to facilitate the effective and efficient storage and retrieval of beneficial owner information and covers corporate and legal entities using the system and to provide for matters incidental thereto.

While the committee stage is not expected to be carried live, persons may still have an opportunity to view the processions live when the house exits committee.

Persons can view the HoA live-streamed via their YouTube page, on Facebook, ZBVI 780 AM, CBN 90.9 FM and Flow TV – Channel 101.

    At least this house working for the few pennies I never see the other house under Moses meeting so much
