HMP inmates showcase theatrical creativity
Notably in attendance at the prison showcase were Governor Daniel Pruce, Premier Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7), and Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Vincent O. Wheatley (R9).
The special 45-minute theatre and film showcase was produced by Claudia Knight of BVI Arts.
Certificates awarded
The event brought together three groups of inmates, including juvenile inmates Makori Stevens, Taheem Robinson, Deondre Fitz, and Demari Samuel; female inmate Jody Ann Thomas; and male inmates Malachy Payne, Shemar Richardson, Akeem Joseph, Kervin Rhymer, Vernon Smith, Korrey Stoutt, Keshawn Barronville, Zuri Reid, Lekhoy Hughes, and Deron Antoine.
After a series of powerful performances, the afternoon ended with Claudia Knight presenting certificates to the participants, acknowledging their courage, creativity, and the transformative power of art and community.

Continue it and that the public can be invited. It can also raise money for the inmates. I remember Karaoke evenings at the prison, organized by Richard Holder
