HM Customs officer dies @ workplace

FREE BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- An officer of Her Majesty's Customs was reportedly found dead at his place of work today, May 4, 2022.

Our newsroom was informed that Mr Brathley Dawson died while at  Her Majesty’s Customs' CAPS Office upstairs Quomar Building in Free Bottom.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), Police received a report early this morning, "of an unresponsive male at BVI Customs Office on May 4th."

The RVIPF said the man was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene. 

"Circumstances surrounding his death are unknown at this time. Investigations are ongoing," the RVIPF said.

      My deepest. Sympathy to Family and friends...I was told he is been sick for a while, However..Anything to do with Customs will always be seen as suspicious,, Can't blame us....Isn't this the dude that Mom past away about 2-3 yrs ago?.

      I just want to piggyback on your comment to say he did indeed do his last good deed before he left this earthly plain. He was one who assisted with the vehicle tha overturned on the hill that same morning. May he rest easy on the other side. Prayers goes out to his family and friends for their lost.
