PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- The 30th Annual Mourant H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) College Classic Race Series is officially underway, uniting the Virgin Islands community in a celebration of health, unity, and giving.

The milestone 30th edition began in Virgin Gorda on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with thirty-eight participants completing the scenic Valley course.

The event was followed by a strong turnout at the HLSCC Paraquita Bay Campus on Tortola on Saturday, October 4, marking the second leg of this year’s series.

The Tortola races, according to a press release from HLSCC, will continue to focus on raising funds for the HLSCC Giving Campaign, while the upcoming Virgin Gorda finale on October 25, 2025, will feature a Breast Cancer Awareness theme, encouraging participants to wear pink in solidarity and contribute to both causes.

Mourant continues its partnership as title sponsor, having supported the series since 2016, and provided specially branded anniversary tokens for all participants. Blu Water remains the official hydration sponsor, ensuring every participant crosses the finish line refreshed.
