Highly anticipated 2025 Third District Job Fair set for Sunday, September 28!

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- The Third District 2025 Job Fair hosted by former Speaker of the House of Assembly Mr Julian Willock and his Third District Committee, along with Kishma P. Forbes of Virgin Islands School and Office Supplies, is set for Sunday, September 28, 2025.

The Job Fair will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Therapy Works Compound located at Hannah Bay, Tortola.

Mr Willock noted that some of the biggest companies in the Virgin Islands will be in attendance, and they all have immediate vacancies.

Private sector companies, along with statutory bodies, including Long Bay Beach Resort, Biras Creek, Scrub Island, Rite Way Food Markets, One Mart, Caribbean Cellars, Digicel BVI, CCT, Pirate’s Bight Restaurant & Bar, BVI Airports Authority and the H L Stoutt Community College, among others, will be present at the event.

Be ready for 'on-the-spot interviews'- Willock

Mr Willock requested that residents from District Three come with their resumes and be ready for on-the-spot interviews and immediate employment once successful.

Also on hand at the September 28, 2025, job fair will be representatives from the National Health Insurance and Social Security Board with information about contributions and benefits.

Additionally, the Trade and Consumer Affairs Department, along with the Department of Labour and Workforce Development, will be present with information to help businesses and employees.

Empowering our people

This is the third annual job fair hosted by Mr Willock and his committee. He said this is “our continued efforts on our journey to empower our people.”

He added that the Trade Department would also be there, because “while I support the 9 to 5, we also encourage our people to take advantage of our entrepreneurial spirit”.

Flow BVI, Nanny Cay Marina, Tortola Auto Group (Tag), and Triple A Trucking are also sponsors of the 2025 District Three Job Fair.

The second annual job fair by Mr Willock and team was deemed a "huge success".

    there is a great chef job on Anegada with accommodation at $3000 a month but no one wants to live up here even though you get most weekends off to get off island... sleepychef@mac.com
