Regrettably, we were kept in a bubble for too long. There was never a plan to actually manage the virus just a plan to hide. Now we are behind the curve and going back to square one while other islands have been able to straddle the line between having borders open and functioning while focusing on testing and tracing. Plan A is only as successful as plan B, which in this case, there simply wasn't one.

You have summarized my sentiments exactly. This govt approach of bury your head in the sand and think you can keep the virus out will never work. This country cant enforce helmet laws on scooters, how the hell you think they gonna secure a border? Task force my ass, one half busted boat and some blind corrupt officials. Instead we could have been developing meaningful protocols to deal with the inevitability of multiple active cases. We could have been testing. We could have been releasing an app to help with contact tracing. Instead we have had our heads buried in the sand gloating that there is no virus here. Strups.

It is a shame to see all the hard work and efforts that this government put in place to keep us safe go down the drain over total ignorance and persons who fail to follow the law and rules. I wonder where are the former politicians now who had the most noise, criticizing the government for how they were handling things. I know if NDP was in power, we would have been up shit street from March. However, God is in total control and in Him I trust. This too shall pass. Get on your knees people. God never fails.

9 districts with 9 elected politicians in the HOA. Each district rep must now pay to test ALL the persons living in his/her district for the virus. No test no vote in the HOA until all persons in each district are tested. Mitch has a head start since JVD tested last month.

Put the test kits to used and stopped saving them for sales.
JVD is the only island was completely tested for covid-19. What happened to the ppl on the other islands of the BVI.... everyone in the BVI should be tested that's what the test kits are for in this pandemic.
They're not for making money offer.
