Gutsy man wolfs down 16 inch sandwich!

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI – A slim built young man “wolfed” down a 16-inch turkey sandwich provided by LIME yesterday June 3, 2012 for $100 cash and a mobile phone.

During the intermission before the feature race at Ellis Thomas Downs for the Diamond Jubilee horseracing event put on by the VI Horseowners’ Association, Noel Grove aka "Sponge", took up the challenge and began making inroads a little after 4 p.m.

Shouts of encouragements egged him on until he completed the task at 5:36 p.m.

A few young men, who looked on amusingly, stated that “he had guts”.

Virgin Islands News Online was unable to get a comment from Grove because the final race of the day was about to commence.

    I can’t believe you all so wicked, Make that man eat that whole lone un tasteful looking sandwich for only a $100. sha man and some cheap phone. High heal , hat contest people hardly to do anything and you all make that man eat that bread just for that. All you Wicked Wicked bad.
