In both the huge countries US and UK there has been hundreds of mass shooting and killings including in a mall in Texas a few days ago. All the Caribbean Islands, including USVI, are experiencing the same issues. Will they blame all of this on VIP? Let's stop making everything politically and let all of us do our part in the community and with our children to stop this violence from taking place and stop making it seem like it is only in the BVI it is happening.

rather than pulling down your own country people get some balls and ask the commissioner of Police who hails from London; what are his plans to disrupt guns and killing in your country

When Malone & Frazer were the commissioners of
Police our country did not have so much killing; gun crimes and no updates on those unsolved crimes(our political leaders do not ask any questions on this very serious subject)

Unless the Royal Virgin Islands Police are moving deep undercover U dont see the presence of the police no where on a regular patrols(yes!!! U see police after something happens in your community after something happens

we all know police can not be every were but my goodness(is it because it black on black crime...the presence of police deters criminal behavior: the territory is far to small

Don’t make it look like Reynell and Vernon was these big superheroes. The world as we know it change especially when it’s on the subject of crime and violence

Boss u all like to come on here talking and dont know anything? When Malone took over the force in 1992 they were shooting inside Road Town station and shooting down police officers in the streets. Crimminals from Stt and here were robbing and killing. The UK chief of police went on a yacht to live and was glad when his term came to an end. As bad and willful these boys are that breed of criminals that sprang when the UK did away with Capital Punishment was not easy everybody felt Tola was gone until Malone brought it back and that is the fact.

It should not fall all on the authorities. This problem and surge in gun violence on the Island ishould also fall on the people. Lots of people know and enables the problem for a few bands aka money, they got trap houses to hide the weapons or people is holding the weapons in their homes for a few bands aka money. Here on the Island, it is about money talking and BS walking.

Exactly, but they all will get dealt with. Almost everyone on the Island is carrying or got a Blick aka gun. Did the police check the dude that is walking around in the long coat yet? You got to be always aware of your surroundings. I go in anywhere, I my eyes is scanning for EXIT SIGNS. NO EXIT SIGNS, I’M OUT THE DOOR. WE ARE NOT IMMUNE TO ANYTHING AND STOP SAYING THIS IS A AMERICA THING AND IT CAN’T OR WILL NOT HAPPEN HERE.

Only cowards and drug workers carry guns…lol. That statement makes absolutely no sense. Some business owners carry guns, Police Carry guns, Military, etc. But since the wanna be gangsters are cowards and clowns, why don’t you go confront one and see where it gets you..

Everywhere else in the world, if there is a problem with guns, members of the public will talk to the police and help them identify the offenders. Here there is a 'code of silence' with people who talk to the police branded 'Rats'. If you want fewer gun, tell the police what you know!

In 1996 the 200 million worth of drugs that was caught in the shoot-out was the largest bust in western hemisphere history. To answer your question yes. And before that in 1992 there was some marijuana that was caught offshore that was worth 70million which was the largest in its time. The force now is ineffective.

The guns is not being made in the BVI, the connect is the US. Customs and ports on the Island is the head of the snake. The guns is being shipped in broken down in Furniture, stoves etc…. Customs and ports turn a blind eye for a fee and let the shit pass through for a fee and kill the dogs if they detect something. FIND SOME MONEY IN THE BUDGET AND INSTALL A CARGO X-RAY MACHINE AT THE PORT TO X-RAY EVERY PIECE OF CARGO THAT COMES OFF THE CARGO SHIPS. Again, customs and ports is the head of the snake.

Always looking to blame others and not reflecting on self. If you know who has a gun or has committed a crime, tell the authorities. You may save your life or the life of a loved one.

Who are you guys to talk about how one pronounce their words. This is the BVI and most of you speak and pronounce your words and sentences incorrectly. Anywho, it is not that serious. It is to darn hot.
