LONG BAY, Beef Island, VI- A firearm was discharged in a crowd during an altercation that started between two persons at Long Bay Beach on Beef Island this morning, Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
It is unclear what started the altercation and whether anyone was injured by the gunshot.
A large crowd of revellers had gathered at the beach following the East End Rise and Shine Tramp.
Police have not yet issued any statement on the incident.

The amount of videos I see where people wearing ski mask
People doing gun signs with them fingers and making gun sounds with them mouth thinking is cool.....
I always said it's all fun and games until a real gun go off. Is all fun and games until a ski mask approach you to deprive you of your possessions....

The best part is a lot of females and people know who got guns and they see them coming to these events but they won't say ntn but when something happens they bawl out and complain. I'll never take y'all seriously. Set of jokers.
The people who attend and love these kinda events are mostly criminals, females that like to dress like prostitutes, gun man , drug man, party man , alcoholics , and single mother's

I literally saw video with a grown woman hyping up her child who looks no older than 9rys to twerk at the parade.
Too much woman breeding for criminals and raising more criminals or prostitutes to be like them. Too many baby showers with criminals and no ring then 5 years later she a single mother with a broken home raising broken kids.....
