That comment doesn't help him to do his job, it somewhat supports what he may think we are as a society.

There’s a time & place for everything & now is not the time to get personal or throw insults as that solves nothing.

On that note it is telling what criminals think of policing response for there to be separate murders in the vicinity of both east and west end police stations.

Just by piecing together the comments on the previous article we have to ask ourselves how is it even remotely possible to consider foreigners coming here and have access to weapons without meeting up on a undercover to catch a predator type sting.

Learn from the US & the ex premier. Obviously this problem will not fix itself while younger and younger people getting access to weapons.

I think who ever is selling these tools is actually in a financial crisis.

Also get to the bottom of any & all green light lists or whatever they want to call it.

Law makers Implement real penalties and get credible security as if we are in the 1st world. With all the money that’s been spent every lawmaker should be able to ride in their own bullet proof car as the premier does.

We live in a world where an idiot will feel entitled to run up and shoot you no matter who you are if they feel you did them wrong which may be pure jealousy.

You cannot trust the police and yet you put them to guard all ports of entry, what you think is going to happen.

When we look at the young men I can't help but notice a trend. I know both of the young men killed in the education system. They had learning challenges. The older had behavioral challenges. Frett was a respectful student who always had a smile. My problem is not enough was done early in their lives to diagnose and intervene to assist. When Walwyn was there and even Andrew Fahie they recognized that something must be done to reach these young men who are failing. Within recent times intervention has been introduced and getting better. We would love for parents to identify weaknesses and get help but we know that's not going to happen. The onus is on the school's now to do that. The education system needs to have proper after school programs and try to get these youths into more meaningful activities especially track and other sports. Coaches have a lot of impact on these kids. We may not be able to save all but if we save one that's one less parent to bury their child. This is not a BVI problem only it's all over.

"When Walwyn was there and even Andrew Fahie they recognized that something must be done to reach these young men who are failing" Really? If they recognized that they still did nothing about it. High School is still not built, five years later. MoE knew about mold at Baughers Bay school and sent children in there anyway. Shameful bunch of MS in government and especially MoE. George and DeCastro need to go.

The bar need to be shut down or rules needs to be enforced. Why is minor at bar? Anywhere else in the world that bar would be fine and shut down. We talk about problem but this is where the problem starts . Minors hanging at bars , drinking and smoking. If we don’t guide our youth how do we expect this type of lawlessness to stop???

This crime took place almost in front of a police station. Can you sir give the public some details? At what time was the police informed of the shooting. How long did it take for them to respond? What is the description of the assailant? Where are posterd to notify the public that an armed and deadly murderer is on the run? What angle did he enter the bar from and what angle did he run afterwards? Are their survellance cameras in thr vicinity? What was he wearing? What color eas he wearing?

Sadlly after every incident in the island, youall beg for public assistance. Yes its meeded, but what happen to intelligence and basic police procedures. You all dont even block an area from people entering or leaving. But yet quick to pull yellow tape and try to look busy.

Where are the stop and search as all points in the island and other islands. The place have guns and ammunition that are being moved in vehicles. But wait again, when was the last time has the police been seen around town or even questionable areas in the community.

Community policing isnt just being out taking pics of haircutd snd church service. The public need to know that our police are real police and not boy scoutd (who I respect by the way)

Let's get this thing together. Make police presence visible by the high school and by public schools. Let the gangsters know they crap ain't happening today. Be police
