ESTATE BOVONI, St Thomas, USVI- Another expected thrilling race featuring Tortola’s Ghostinyou is on the cards for the Race to the Poles set for Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) on November 3, 2024.

Ghostinyou, owned by Lesmore Smith, brought much pride to the Virgin Islands when it thrillingly won the feature race of the St Thomas Carnival Races, The Governor’s Cup, in the US Virgin Islands (USVI) on May 3, 2024.

3 champions! One Race!

This time Ghostinyou will come against horses such as Pure Speight, the 2024 Lt. Governor Cup champion from STX; and the undefeated sensation from St Thomas, Mauco's Choice in the Liberty Day Handicap, which will be an Open Mile race from 5:00 PM!

The race featuring three champions will be the main race of the day (Race 6) and for a whopping purse of $25,000.00.
Other horses entered in the feature race are Colbaloaf, and Smarten Up.

Risk vs Reward

Meanwhile, the Virgin Islands will also be represented by Risk vs Reward, which will compete in the final race of the day, Race 7, for a purse of $16,500.00.

The curtain dropper is billed as the Election Day Classic and will be run over a distance of 7 1/2 furlongs.

Risk vs Reward is also owned by Mr Lesmore Smith of Top Priority Racing Stables.

Other horses vying for the top prize will be My Candy Biz, Buckmaster, Modern Lane, Quincy Cafe, and Barrio San Jose.

The first race on Sunday will get underway at 1:30 PM.

Meanwhile, efforts to get a comment from champion horse owner Lesmore Smith were unsuccessful up to the time of publication.
