The truth is their is not a single page that of documentation that the BVI is owned by us natives and citizens politically, contrary to many propaganda narrative. This truth been so, please help defend the defenseless people of the BVI against the many injustice regularly been and are being practice against us, especially, low paid government workers, job seekers, pensioners and others overlooked persons.
Thank you in advance, Sir, and may your tender as Governor of the BVI be bless both immediately after you are swear in to serve, and throughout the remaining time of your tender, God's willing.
And this MARK is not the GOSPEL. Don't believe everything he says.
The Great March of 24 November 1949 did not sit around wondering what would happen; they got together and plan and organize and took action and got results, viz, a) Legislature reinstated having been suspended in 1901(1950), a) local/indigenous Virgin Islanders for the first time got the opportunity to vote directly for 4 At Large members of the Legislative Council(1950), c) adult suffrage (1954); poll tax removed, ie, be propertied, literate, etc , to vote. The March paved the way for more self-governance by the ministerial system of government which was ushered in 1967.
Moreover, Virgin Islanders with their disunity, divide and scatter mentality, sambo behavior, etc is playing into the hands of the colonialists. Divide and scatter make them weaker, more exploitable, and vulnerable. If this behavior and attitude continue, the legendary Harry say you will hear. Are Virgin Islanders raising the white flag???
The colonialists are acting out of self-interest, not the interest of Virgin Islanders. The UK is using the OTs as pawns in its Global Britain initiative, ie, trying to regain some of its lost prestige, power, influence, status, etc.,
