Governor Daniel Pruce suffers dislocated shoulder
It is unclear what the circumstances were surrounding the governor ending up with a dislocated shoulder.
“I dislocated my shoulder last week - the legacy of an injury from many years ago,” Governor Pruce stated on the Office of the Governor's Facebook page on Monday, April 22, 2024.
His post was accompanied by a photo of himself standing in front of the Governor's Residence and the government-purchased Range Rover with his left arm in a sling.
Governor Pruce said he is “grateful to the amazing team at the Dr D. Orlando Smith hospital for taking care of me.
“I’ll continue working this week, albeit on lighter duties. Many thanks for the kind messages of support,” Governor Pruce, who was sworn in as the 15th Governor of the Virgin Islands on January 29, 2024, stated.
