Governor Daniel Pruce suffers dislocated shoulder

Governor Daniel Pruce posted a photo of himself with his left arm in a sling today, April 22, 2024. The Governor said he suffered a dislocated shoulder last week. Photo: Facebook
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- United Kingdom (UK) appointed Governor Daniel Pruce has praised the staff of Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital for their treatment towards him after he had cause to visit there due to a shoulder injury.

It is unclear what the circumstances were surrounding the governor ending up with a dislocated shoulder.

“I dislocated my shoulder last week - the legacy of an injury from many years ago,” Governor Pruce stated on the Office of the Governor's Facebook page on Monday, April 22, 2024.

His post was accompanied by a photo of himself standing in front of the Governor's Residence and the government-purchased Range Rover with his left arm in a sling.

Governor Pruce said he is “grateful to the amazing team at the Dr D. Orlando Smith hospital for taking care of me.

“I’ll continue working this week, albeit on lighter duties. Many thanks for the kind messages of support,” Governor Pruce, who was sworn in as the 15th Governor of the Virgin Islands on January 29, 2024, stated.

Why we still need a governor in 2024 shameful
    • Migoman (22/04/2024, 23:10) Like (22) Dislike (1) Reply
Probably because we still cant get our roads fixed, proper sewage system, reliable water supply and a proper incinerator. Simple sh*t..
Fix all of that and more first before you ask why we still need a governor in 2024

You will NEVER get rid of a governor cause WE CAN NEVER STICK TOGETHER AS BLACK PEOPLE. Every government since Mr. Stoutt gets elected and serve their LODGE BRETHRENS and SISTERS 1st then close family and friends. NEVER have they thought about country. Decades ago until now so much money flowed through the BVI sewage, water, roads problems should've been a distant memory.

Seems like this new Governor has already lost his way. Too many extra curricular activities. Guess that bad Virgin Islands peer pressure gets them every time..Rankin didn't do too bad in hindsight.

The whole point of having a British Governor is so that he is impartial. He isn’t one of the intermarried corrupt 12 families of BVI who drain their own people by slight of hand or nepotism. He is here because the BVI can’t run itself and you still belong to the crown! You aren’t free, independent, morally trustworthy or honest enough to run the territory yourself, so you need a baby sitter to slap you!
