It is nice that Governor Daniel Pruce is getting out meeting the people on his tropical taxpayer paid vacation. Still in the 21st Century Virgin Islanders should hsve say in whom is despatched as Governor to represent they and Virgin Islands, should it not? Undoubtedly, . Damn, I forget that taxpayers are paying for his crusading stay, he is here to represent the Crown, not the VI people. Let’s not be fool by the psychological niceties, for the Guv is a UK civil servant and part of the cabal who was deployed replacing Controversial John Rankin who replaced also controversial Gus Jaspert to carry out the game plan take over the BVI. Our behavior and action give them ammunition to justify the take over. Let’s stay focus and vigilate and vigilant.

you're deluded - Uk do not want to take over the BVI. they have enought of their own problems, and BVI just adds to them. I'm sure they'd get rid of us if they could. But tho rulers in BVI are too scared to hold an independence referendum as they know they'd probably lose it - then all their big talk is worthless as proof that independence is not what the people want

Good attitude toward the people govern will help to silent some of the hater of good governance, Governor Daniel Price. Keep contacting and communicating personal when possible with the wider community of persons of various ethnicity. Better governance than we now have is vital for all the people of the BVI, and those that are, and will visit us for good reason in the future.

Some of our politicians are sleeping on the wheel. Before the governor came to visit these islands, some of the politicians should make monthly or quarterly visits to interact with the people. This is a small community and I don't see why the politicians are not more visible. Some may say that Facebook would inform us about the happenings in the country. However, how many senior citizens can log on to Facebook.

No matter how friendly, cordial, or personable a governor is they are agents of the UK and are here to execute the UK's agenda.
