HORSE PATH, Tortola, VI - Winning the grand prize of a brand-new Haval vehicle in the Tola Radio Dollar Mania Christmas 2023 competition, Javon G. Charles told Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) he was truly in need of a vehicle.

The winner was announced this afternoon, January 1, 2024, in a week six final draw live show hosted by Floyd Burnett aka 'Heritage' that started at around 2:30 pm on Tola Radio VI, 100.5 FM for persons who purchased tickets in the competition.

While Mr Charles will uplift his car tomorrow, January 2, 2023, he said he feels blessed to have won, “God knows I needed a vehicle because I'm not driving right now, and so I bought some tickets,” he said.

On the live radio broadcast, Mr Charles expressed shock at hearing his name and was lost for words when Burnett told him he was the winner of the new vehicle.

Free gas & insurance

The vehicle also comes with free gas and insurance for a year as part of the support from Tony Alphonso of Alphonso Enterprises Ltd, a main sponsor in the competition.

“I would like to thank Heritage and all the staff for putting this whole thing together… Alphonso for making this happen especially to Heritage, he is a hard-working individual and God will continue to bless him as long as He continues to bless people in the way He does,” Mr Charles further told VINO.

Our news center will bring more details as they become available.

If your invisible and imaginary friend who lives in the sky was truly real don’t you think he would have better things to do than see you need a car?

@ok you sound so foolish, island man don't spend their darn money like you does but that is if you have money, wise up stop the stigmatizing this is a new year and just to let you know I born here. Tortola is what a continent the last I know it was an island it is surrounded by water foolishness.

I knew there would be some drama behind this. The man won the car, congratulate him and keep it moving. Stop being so bitter because you did not win. You win some, you lose some.

When someone is jealous of you which I am seeing in the blog, they aren’t excited about your good news. They are overly critical of you and they downplay your achievements. Watch out for jealousy.

That is exactly how you see and know when someone is jealous of you.
