ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Not even the unusual feat of goalkeeper, Phillip Jules, scoring twice was enough for victory as ESHS Under 12’s were held 2-2 by Bregado Flax when the BDO/LIME After School leagues continued this week.

Jules scored his first direct from a free kick in the first half after Lareisha Martin had been fouled about 20 yards from goal and then added a second from the penalty spot in the second half with a little help from the inside of the post.

Stephan Paul reduced the deficit less than a minute later after Jules, back in his own goal, had failed to clear the ball and Paul was on hand to slot home from close range. Raphael Sanchez then equalized on 47 minutes to secure a share of the points.

Guillaume Parkins bagged a hat trick in First Impressions 4-0 win over Althea Scatliffe. His goals came in 1st, 8th and 22nd minutes with Jahwal Prentice adding a goal of his own in the 17th minute

On Tuesday February 26, 2013, Robinson O’Neal defeated Rainbow Primary 2-0 with two goals from Mike Pope and Cedar School beat Enis Adams 3-0. Stephano Taskings scored either side of Nina Forte’s 21st minute effort.

Kerry Vilburn gave Joyce Samuels a 7th minute lead against First Impressions, but Jamal Prentice equalized in the 22nd minute to give his team a share of the points.

In under 9 action, First Impressions had goals from Jaylan Prentice and Awari Dupuis to thank for a comfortable 2-0 win against Enis Adams and the previous Thursday Cedar U9’s cruised to a 3-0 victory over Enis Adams. Noah Leese netted twice and Nathan Haycraft rounded out the scoring. Willard Wheatley lost to First Impressions conceding a late goal to Jalen Prentice

In under 7 games Althea Scatliffe and First Impressions drew nil nil and Enid Scatliffe Orange lost 6-0 to Cedar School. Azarni Callwood and Kael Chalwell both scored two apiece whilst further goals came from Alex Fountain and Ryan Lettsome.

The Seventh Day Adventist U7 team had a J’Von Jones hat trick to thank for a 3-0 victory over Enid Scatliffe Orange. Montesorri drew 0-0 with Cornerstone and Enid Scatliffe Red shared the same score line with Leonora Delville.

The Football Association also made its first visit to Anegada on Saturday February 25, 2013 with four matches taking place.

In the Under 9 Division St Georges and Anegada drew 2-2. Jadon Dabreo gave the hosts a 2nd minute lead before Xuomar Gunn, in the 4th minute, tied the scores. Auvier Harry put St Georges ahead two minutes later and then Dabreo made it 2-2 in the 16th minute.

Next up for Anegada were Leonora Delville, who ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a Kemuel Parsons goal in the 6th minute.

LDPS then made it a clean sweep with a 3-1 win in the Under 12 Division courtesy of a T’Quan Stoutte hat trick in the 13th, 16th and 18th minutes. Shanice Rose pulled one back late on for Anegada.

St Georges’ Chadrick Evans then went one better than Stoutte with a four goal salvo as his team overcame Anegada 5-0. Sheldon Harry had opened the scoring in the 9th minute before Evans hit the target in the 12th, 18th, 21st and 24th minutes.

In other High School League games HLSCC Girls beat Begrado Flax 2-0 with two goals from BFEC Graduate Lavern “Ebony” Fahie and in the Boys division Cedar pulled off a surprise 2-1 victory despite missing their regular goalkeeper and playing a man short.

Noel Maxwell gave Cedar the lead in the 28th minute against the run of play and after a somewhat casual performance in front of goal by ESHS.

Jared Younis equalized for ESHS in the 75th minute, but the relief was short lived as Maxwell popped up again to net what would prove the winner in the 87th minute.
