‘Glamour FX Trade Ltd’ falsely purporting to have license in VI- FSC

PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI - The BVI’s Financial Services Commission (FSC) in a September 22, 2023, public statement said that in order to protect the customers, creditors, or persons who may have been solicited to conduct business by GLAMOURFXTRADE, or Glamour FX Trade Ltd., as well as to bring awareness to the public; has noted that the entity has never been licensed or regulated by the FSC to carry on any type of financial services business in the Virgin Islands.

The statement claimed that GLAMOURFXTRADE is “falsely purporting to be licensed and regulated by the FSC to conduct investment business".

The FSC warned against the company and went on to inform the public that “GLAMOURFXTRADE, or Glamour FX Trade Ltd., is not a BVI company and has never been licensed or regulated by the FSC to carry on investment business or any other type of financial services business in or from within the Territory.”

Stay away from Glamour FX Trade

The FSC asked members of the public to exercise “extreme caution if solicited at any time to conduct business with GLAMOURFXTRADE or Glamour FX Trade Ltd.”

In addition, the FSC called on the public to provide the “FSC with any relevant information on any questionable entities that are purportedly operating in or from within the Territory and on any improper activities engaged in by such entities.”

A search of the company by our newsroom noted that on its webpage the address is stated as, 2202 North West Shore Boulevard Suite 500 Tampa, Florida, USA, however, no phone number was listed.  

The FSC Public Statement is pursuant to Section 37A of the Financial Services Commission Act, 2001.
