Gambler robbed during curfew hours in Carrot Bay
A man is now seeking the help of officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) to find a man who allegedly took some $4,000 from a gambling table between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm last night, June 2, 2020.
According to information reaching our news centre, the robbed man, along with about three or four others, was gambling at an abandoned building in the Carrot Bay community.
The victim had opted to be the light bearer by using a mobile phone.
It is alleged that because he couldn’t play, hold his money and the phone all at the same time, he put his cash of some $4,000 on the table when the accused (name provided) came into the building, grabbed the money from the table and fled.
The victim alleged that he clearly identified the robber man as he followed him while pleading for the return of his money but the accused hopped into an awaiting vehicle and fled the area.
The victim is pleading with police to help him retrieve his money.

One of the men was robbed of jewellery and cash before being shot twice, once in the abdomen and in the groin.
The victim, originally from Virgin Gorda, is said to be in stable condition at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
