ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – MC Paul ‘Gadiethz’ Peart has announced the extension of his contract with telecommunications company Digicel with a new 2-year deal. Gadiethz had established a relationship with the company since November 2008.

Speaking with Virgin Islands News Online, Gadiethz explained that he felt his creativity and energy when promoting Digicel events were instrumental in their decision to agree to the extension and creation of the two-year contract. Previously, the two sides had extended their merger on a year-to-year basis. “I think the last coordinating of the [Digicel] 4G event sealed the deal… that it was a good investment,” he said.

Digicel has agreed to retain Gadiethz and has locked him in a two (2) year contract, effective December 1, 2012.  Gadiethz explained that Digicel felt that the benefits would be really marvellous in having a two-year contract after he had previously been signed for three consecutive years to promote their products and services.

In a release submitted by Gadiethz, it was explained that the MC is looking forward to extending his scope of works with Digicel to make an even greater impact as the company advances to the number one position in the local telecommunications market over the next few months.

Regarding his intention to extend his scope of works within the organization, he indicated to this news site that he manages quite a few artistes including Kerell and Meesach and was hopeful that “Digicel as a telecommunications company will open its doors to hosting shows like the Rising Stars that is already a big hit in the Caribbean especially Jamaica.”

Gadiethz felt that his contract meant not only the promotion of Digicel BVI but moreso the promotion of the company as a telecommunications giant within the thirty-three countries that they are involved with. “Well, you know I’m really excited that the team at Digicel has chosen to continue this mutually beneficial relationship that we started some years ago,” said Gadiethz. “I give my all when I am asked to assist in Digicel promotions, whether I am on the radio or at the flagship store or anywhere in the islands – Tortola, Virgin Gorda or Anegada.”

The release further stated that Gadiethz was the main MC for Digicel’s Big Red launch concert and since then, he has signed annual contracts as Digicel’s Media Personality to promote the company’s activities through the media and other events. It is impossible to miss his outstanding talent on the radio through his signature commercials and his inimitable Morning Ride Show which Digicel sponsors on ZROD 103.7FM, every weekday morning from 7 A.M. to 10 A.M. The Morning Ride Show is streamed live on www.zrodfm.com and can also be found on Ustream.

Under the terms of the contract, Digicel is obligated to provide the Personality with access to its suite of products and services and see him being featured in the company’s advertising and promotional campaigns.
