According to an April 30, 2025 public statement from the FSC, the website is falsely purporting to be the Regulatory Body of the Virgin Islands and falsely claiming to be operating in the Territory.
“The fraudulent website appears to have materially cloned (and displays) details and information from the FSC’s website – www.bvifsc.vg,” the statement explained.
FSC has no affiliation with this website
The FSC in the statement said it has no affiliation with and is not connected to the fraudulent website, https://www.remorsprompt.com/.
“Further, the fraudulent website and its operators are not and have never been authorised by the FSC to use the information published on the fraudulent website,” the FSC added.
The FSC is advising members of the public to avoid visiting or conducting business through the fraudulent website https://www.remorsprompt.com/ or making any contact through the email address support@edpregulation.com.
In the meantime, the FSC is diligently working with the relevant authorities to have the fraudulent website decommissioned.
