Plain and simple drivers need to be more careful and alert, thinking of their own safety as well as that of others. With more vehicles on the roads, more inexperience drivers (newly licensed) etc drivers should exercise more care. Fender benders, accidents cause damages in so many ways. Even the Silly Feeling of having been in an accident causes mich stress and blame. BVl is a small country (Tortola only 20 sq. Miles, Angada 12 Sq mls and Virgin Gorda just 8 square miles.
I guess when some of us take vacations to other places and drive on much better wider longer and in better shape than our roads, we come back to our poor road ways we still want to drive like we did elsewhere

Some of you are joking about this but this need a complete investigation.. Children are usually walking that same pedestrian walkway in the afternoons.
Thank God it was not a normal school day while children were walking home from school.
There should be a complete investigation in this matter, if he was speeding then his driver license need to be suspended for a while.. Also check to see if he is using the correct category of driver license... This place is becoming so sick
