VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Residents and visitors on Virgin Gorda who feel they may have been exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 disease are invited to get tested tomorrow, Friday, August 28, 2020.

The testing, free of cost, will be conducted by the Ministry of Health and Social Security and BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) at St Mary’s Anglican Church Hall from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

“The testing site is being offered to accommodate anyone who feels that they may have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus,” a bulletin from the Government of the Virgin Islands stated today, August 27, 2020.

Persons who plan on getting tested must ensure to follow health protocols of wearing a face mask and adhering to physical distancing of six feet.

“Residents are reminded that the test is free of cost. Children can also be tested with parental consent,” the bulletin also stated.

Persons requiring more information can call: 852-6750.

The Virgin Islands currently has 17 active cases of COVID-19.

      Exactly, they getting them for free from the U.K, and charging a whole $135, to take the test. Nonsense!

    @NEVER taking that test. No one is forcing you. It's a simple test dont make it sound like it's so bad. I was there when someone took it and it was not so bad like you are painting it.

    People dont let people scare you the choice is yours. No one is saying you have or have not the virus. The thing is will this help you to find out. Choose wisely peace

    Whats the plan...We neeed to know whats the Govt plans leading up to the borders opening as it relates to safety and the eonomy...Give us a plan, let us have an input...together we will not fail.. We have toopen our borders we cant stay lock doan forever, and the longer we stay lock down it indicates the void of a plan.....As it is now we are only reacting as something happen...

    This article has nothing to do with borders it has to do with marking the right choice. Get tested the life you save may be your own. Think about family and friends not selfishness. We were not brought up on selfishness we were brought up on love
