FREE BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Mr Mozart Peters, also known as Dexter, of Free Bottom, Tortola.

According to police, Mr Peters, 48, was last seen in the Free Bottom area on Monday, August 17, 2026, around 11:00 PM, wearing a white vest, light blue underpants and no shoes.

Vulnerable adult

The missing man is considered a vulnerable adult and may require assistance.

Peters is said to be 5 feet, 5 inches tall, slim-built, and dark-skinned.

“His family is very concerned about his well-being,” the RVIPF stated today, August 19, 2026.

“If you have seen him or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact 311, the nearest police station, or any member of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force,” the RVIPF urged.

Meanwhile, residents of the Sixth District were scheduled to conduct a community search from 4:00 PM today.

    I hope someone sees him and brings him to safety. Wearing no shoes and underwear is a sure sign of a person lost. Please, everyone, keep your eyes open for this man.
