Foxy’s Wooden Boat Regatta celebrates 50 years this Memorial Day weekend
Hosted by the West End Yacht Club, the regatta has become a beloved tradition in the Virgin Islands' sailing calendar.
According to the West End Yacht Club, in a press release, this year’s event promises two days of spirited racing, live entertainment, and community celebration set against the vibrant backdrop of Great Harbour, Jost van Dyke.
“It's my absolute honour to be involved in this milestone event and to lead the West End Yacht Club into a new era,” said Stephen Varrow, Commodore of the West End Yacht Club.
“We look forward to personally welcoming guests, competitors, and spectators to join us in Jost for what promises to be a truly unforgettable weekend," Varrow added.
Key Highlights Include:

Open registration for all sailing vessels – not just wooden boats

Racing on Saturday & Sunday, with a 10:30 AM start each day

The return of the Coconut Boat Race on Saturday at 3 PM – open to children and adults

Buffet dinner at Foxy’s Tamarind Bar on Saturday night from 6 PM

Prize giving ceremony on Sunday at 3 PM
Spectator Options
For those who want to witness the racing from the water, the Aristocat Watch Party offers a unique on-the-water experience with drinks, views of the regatta fleet, and a relaxed social atmosphere.
