that area is known for a lot of accidents especially since they cut the road. Most times vehicle got no choice but to go in the opposite lane cause they have the road cut and have the peices of boards exposed in the road with nails in them.

no you wait till the road is clear before changing lanes to avoid a hazard, they obviously didn't

They see you coming but will move out of their lane and speed up because they expect you to give up your rights, slow down and pull aside for them to pass. Happened to me several times this week. Almost got hit once.

Don't know what the circumstances of this accident are but drivers on Tortola don't understand one simple principal if your side is blocked YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY.

This road work taking a bit to long in certain areas but truth be told all of us need to be more road friendly. Work in progress pay attention and drive with due care and hopefully we may be able to save lives including our own.

Hoping all will be well with those involved

some of our public roads have to many hazards: Work being done and no proper signs to alert the drivers: far to long is being taken to do small road projects: for example in the sea cows bay area for months now work is being carried out on a small project and continues to disrupt the flow of traffic: the public highway must be free of obstruction to the flow of traffic especially doing the rush hours: most of all persons need to slow down and exercise caution on our road.....

Everyone knows that road works are being done. Please drive with caution and this will most likely not happen.

As a driver-- when you are on the road its not an issue of who is wrong or right-or who has right-away or wrong away---you as a driver do whatever it takes to avoid and prevent accidents.-I had to drive in bushes, ran off the road so many times..drivers are heading to me in my lane.......Defensive driving is the best driving

And that is always the funny part the people who have the worst cars, have no insurance, don't have a cent to scratch their a$$ are always the ones speeding and not holding their side of the road.

Send all claims to the Ministry of communications and Work, cause they are careless.

I was on the scene. I know the road works being carried out but we should not use that as an excuse. One of the drivers could hardly stand up he was staggering.. i presume if he was not in that position there might not have been an accident.

Why is the Montero in that accident transported to public parking lot in Lower Estate? That parking lot is getting very crowded with derelicts. Department of Waste Manage please have a look at the parking lot asap before residence can't find any more parking space in it, thank you.
