MCW not aware of market value & revenue potential of Baugher’s Bay plant!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After recently handing over the Baugher’s Bay Desalination Plant to the management of private entity Sage Utilities Holdings Limited, it came as a surprise in the House of Assembly today February 12, 2013 that the Ministry of Communications and Works is not aware of the market value of the plant nor its revenue earning potential.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - It was a valve that had exploded while it was being opened by an employee that caused the chlorine leak at the Baugher's Bay Desalination Plant on February 6, 2013.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A reduction in water rationing and a more consistent supply of water to households and businesses are expected from the Baugher’s Bay Desalination Plant in the coming months as it is now under new management- Sage Utilities Holdings Limited.
