UPDATE: Sistah Joyce is 4 time Calypso Monarch!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- History was made at the Rita Francis Festiville on July 27, 2016 when Joycelyn “Sistah Joyce” Searles was named the Virgin Islands’ Calypso Monarch for the 4th consecutive year.
UPDATE: Hon. Walwyn to meet with Calypsonians to "resolve matters"
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Word reaching this news site indicated that Hon. Myron Walwyn, Minister for Education and Culture will meet with the territory's calypsonians today, July 12, 2012, in efforts to resolve matters and successfully staging the annual August Fest Calypso elimination competition, held by the VI Festival and Fairs committee.
