AG instructed to draft Witness Anonymity Legislation
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Witnesses who take the stand in high profile criminal court cases in the Virgin Islands (VI) could soon be protected under upcoming legislation that puts witness anonymity on the forefront and protects those people from being identified during and after the case.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – It would not be until the crack of the New Year 2015 that the two Virgin Gorda men Jevon Demming and Sherman Williams will know how long they would be behind bars having been found guilty of attempted murder and one thing the Crown asked the Judge to consider is the injury to Mr Neil St. Rose’s scrotum area.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Jevon Demming and Sherman Williams were back in the High Court on November 21, 2014 with the expectation of knowing their fate having been found guilty on October 22, 2014 for attempted murder.
UPDATE: Sherman Williams out of HMP & banned from VG
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Sherman Williams was jointly charged with a cousin Jevon Demming for attempting to murder Mr Neil St. Rose back in 2012 but while Demming was granted bail in the earlier stages, Williams was remanded to the confines of Her Majesty’s Prison, Balsum Ghut.
Cousins for June trial in Rock Café shooting
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Sherman Williams and his cousin Jevon Demming, both of Valley, Virgin Gorda (VG), are expected to face trial on June 10, 2014 for the attempted murder of Neil St. Rose.
