UVI to increase Tuition by 14%; Meal Plans by 26%

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The University of the Virgin Islands Board of Trustees has approved increases to tuition and fees for students, which are expected to start taking effect this fall. The decision was taken during the board’s quarterly meeting on Saturday, March 4, 2023, as the university faces chronically low enrollment and inflationary pressures.
HLSCC to focus on increasing male enrollments
PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI - President of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, Dr Karl Dawson, stated that with regard to the enrollment ratio of boys to girls over the past, the college needs to pay urgent attention, and try to address the situation of ensuring that more males take advantage of the college curriculum.
