This year may have been the last Christmas on De Castro Street!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After a few years on DeCastro Street in Road Town, Tortola, the annual cultural showcase currently known as ‘Christmas on DeCastro Street’ is facing a venue shift. The event was formally known as Christmas on Main Street, until it was relocated to DeCastro Street some three years ago.

Back then you felt the Christmas spirit, Christmas in DeCastro Street killed that vibe and making it like the rest of the world; for commercial purposes,” said a vendor at Christmas in DeCastro Street on Saturday December 3, 2016.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Businessman and commentator Donald E. De Castro is lashing out at the decision to shift the annual Christmas on Main Street event to De Castro Street between Scotiabank and Bobby’s Supermarket, saying that there was no advance warning of such a decision.
