Farmers & fishers urged to prepare this hurricane season
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is encouraging farmers and fishers to prepare for the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season which began on June 1, 2026.

35 farmers & fishers approved for over $300K in grant funding
PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) has announced that a total of $388,826.66 will be disbursed to 35 farmers and fishers under the new agriculture grant introduced by the government.
