UPDATE: Tortola horse Laser Sharp ends in the $$ in feature clash of Carnival Races
ESTATE BOVONI, St Thomas, USVI- Although not winning the Governor’s Cup at the Carnival Races at Clinton E. Phipps Sr Racetrack on St Thomas on May 1, 2026, Tortola horse Laser Sharp of Top Priority Racing Stables did the Virgin Islands (VI) proud for putting in a solid effort against the speed demon and eventual race winner, Pure Speight, of St Croix.
‘Highly Noted’ saved the day for VI @ Carnival Races in USVI
ESTATE BOVONI, St Thomas, USVI- While most of the focus was on whether Tortola’s Ghostinyou would repeat as Governor’s Cup champion at the Carnival Races at Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack in St Thomas, US Virgin Islands on Friday, May 2, 2025, the many horse racing fans from the Virgin Islands who attended the races were given an early reason to celebrate.
