Agriculture and fishing can boost VI economy – Hon Fraser
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Chairman of Progressives United (PU), Hon Julian Fraser RA (R3) says that under a PU government in to Virgin Islands (VI) the group will aggressively peruse agriculture as a means of lowering import bills and creating new revenue streams for the territory, which is badly needed at this time.

'NDP has killed off agriculture' - Edmund G. Maduro
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Controversial television talk show host Edmund G. Maduro has declared that the National Democratic Party (NDP) government has killed off agriculture in the territory and that soon commercial fishing will also be gone, leaving only sport fishing that tourists engage in.
Greenhouses to be developed next year
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – When the greenhouses, located at Paraquita Bay, are developed in the New Year it would take between 20 to 24 individuals to man them, revealed Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Dr. Kedrick Pickering at the December 19, 2011 Second House of Assembly sitting.
