BVITB partnering with property owners to reserve rooms for Buju concert
PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI- With more than 8000 guests projected to descend on the Virgin Islands for the Long Walk To Freedom Concert featuring Jamaican artiste Buju Banton, born Mark Anthony Myrie, on June 15, 2019 the BVI Tourist Board (BVITB) is seeking to partner with hotels, villas and other businesses offering accommodation, to ensure guests are afforded a place to stay for the concert weekend.

Guests complaining about rude Immigration & Customs officers – taxi driver
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Roy Sebastian, a veteran taxi operator, bemoaned the “unfriendly” behaviour he claimed that is meted out to some tourists by Immigration and Customs officials at the ports of entry in the Virgin Islands (VI) especially those at the Road Town Ferry Dock terminal.
Tastemakers, chefs, winemakers & guests arrive in the VI for Winemakers Dinners
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Tastemakers, seasoned gourmands, chefs and winemakers from around the world have started to arrive in the Virgin Islands to join residents of the Territory to participate in the five dinners of the 2011 Virgin Islands Winemakers Dinners, which will be held between November 16th and 20th at exclusive private villas and special locations in the Virgin Islands.
