EPA awards $500K to USVI for climate pollution reduction planning

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The U.S Environmental Protection Agency is taking more steps toward supporting the U.S. Virgin Islands' efforts to combat climate change through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Friday, March 31, 2023, announced over $126.86 million from the 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act for states, Tribes, and territories through this year’s Clean Water State Revolving Funds for the US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the states of New York and New Jersey.
