USVI: Commission denies track oversight caused horse deaths @ Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack

ESTATE BOVONI, St Thomas, USVI- Members of the St Thomas-St John Horse Racing Commission used their meeting, Wednesday, April 16, 2025, to respond to claims made in a January article published by a local media outlet, which linked the deaths of multiple horses during December 22 races at the Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack to a lack of oversight and unregulated doping.
Governor Rankin defends ‘biased’ Auditor General
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Amidst heavy criticisms from legislators and some members of the public that Auditor General Sonia M. Webster’s reports on consultation contracts for Claude O. Skelton-Cline and the contract for the barges to provide border security are biased and “lacking balance”, United Kingdom (UK) appointed Governor John J.
