Private/Public stakeholder forum being planned on VI Minimum Wage– Premier
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– Virgin Islands Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr the Hon Natalio D. Wheatley (R7) said, in an effort to deal with the minimum wage issue in the Virgin Islands (VI), a stakeholder forum is being planned to involve both the government and private sectors.

799 new businesses opened in 2020 & 2021 during pandemic– Premier
DUFF'S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Despite the adverse economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with a decline in employment during the 2020 and 2021 period due to the temporary or permanent closure of some businesses, some 548 and 251 new businesses opened in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
