BVIHSA receives Blood Bank equipment from Rotary Club of Tortola
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) has received a donation of Blood Bank equipment courtesy of the Rotary Club of Tortola.
Rotary Tortola secures $45K funding to expand local blood bank
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Rotary Club of Tortola has successfully secured $45K for the purchase of needed equipment to expand the blood bank laboratory services at the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) and in the process, living up to a challenge first put to the club by Dr. Kedrick D. Pickering earlier this year.
Blood donated locally has to be tested in PR- BVIHSA
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- One of the major projects of the Rotary Club of Tortola in the current Rotary year is to improve and upgrade the blood bank and storage facilities at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
