ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The centre of Hurricane Tammy has moved past the [British] Virgin Islands and Tropical Storm Warnings have been discontinued; however, the territory has been asked to monitor the system’s long tail of shower activity.

TS Bret forms in the Atlantic; Lesser Antilles warned to monitor storm
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Tropical Storm Bret formed on Monday afternoon, June 19, 2023, in the Central Atlantic, after emerging off the West Coast of Africa and tracking over unusually warm ocean waters. Forecasters have suggested the storm will become a hurricane by Wednesday to Thursday of this week.
