USVI: Gov Bryan urged to rescind pay raises after public outcry

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- Lieutenant Governor Tregenza A. Roach announced on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, that he has written to Governor Albert A. Bryan, Jr, asking for the wage increases granted to him and to the Governor by the Virgin Islands Public Officials Compensation Commission to be rescinded.

BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI- Former Speaker of the Virgin Islands House of Assembly (HoA) Mr Julian Willock has said he is disappointed there is no “pushback” from the Government of National Unity of Premier Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7), regarding the implementation of the recommendations of the Commission of Inquiry (CoI) Report.
