Public urged to refrain from visiting conch mounts on Anegada
THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI- Minister for Natural Resources and Labour Honourable Melvin M. Turnbull (R2) has stated that residents and visitors of the Anegada community should refrain from visiting the conch mounts due to the recent disposal of Shortfin Pilot Whale carcasses that were in the area.

THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI- The Government of the Virgin Islands is working to dispose of the more than 50 dead Shortfin pilot whales discovered on the East End of Anegada at the weekend.
Public urged not to remove stranded whales from shore
THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI- Over 50 Shortfin pilot whales have died on the East End of Anegada and persons are urged not to attempt to move the stranded whales from the shore.
