USVI says not enough people taking Monkeypox Vaccine

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix- While many countries around the world remain in a sluggish queue to obtain monkeypox vaccines, health authorities in the US Virgin Islands are concerned that not many people are volunteering to take the vaccine, even as cases in the United States continue to climb.
Hospitalisations increase as COVID-19 surge tops 1,246 cases in USVI

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI- The [US] Virgin Islands Department of Health (DoH) on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, reported 1,246 active COVID-19 cases, numbers not seen since late December 2021 and early January when the Omicron wave first impacted the US Virgin Islands.
