ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – In response to the current economic challenges and global conflicts, the Virgin Islands government has signaled its intention to introduce a “basket of goods” initiative aimed at alleviating the rising cost of living in the territory. Junior Minister for Financial Services, Trade, and Economic Development, Hon. Lorna G. Smith, OBE (AL), has confirmed that this plan is still in place, and an announcement will be made soon regarding its implementation.
