‘Investigate possibility’ of forgiving interest for locals with loans @ NBVI- Hon Fraser
DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- Veteran legislator and Third District Representative Hon Julian Fraser RA has called on the Government of the Virgin Islands to investigate the possibility of the National Bank of the Virgin Islands (NBVI) forgiving all or a percentage of interest on loans for Virgin Islanders during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Virgin Islands.
Gov’t offering 100% reduction on property tax interests
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- As the Andrew A. Fahie-led Virgin Islands Party (VIP) Government continues to look at ways to assist the people during this coronavirus pandemic, it is now extending to property owners a 100% reduction on property tax interests accrued for the 2020 tax year and prior years.
