BEEF ISLAND, VI- The South Cardinal Buoy located at The Beef Island Bluff in Sir Francis Drake Channel is back on station following repairs.
Mariners given ‘tool’ to report suspicious activity to police
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) today, Thursday, March 30, 2023, launched the Operation Island Watch, which is intended to offer mariners a tool for reporting suspicious behaviour in and around the Territory’s borders and shorelines.
HLSCC approved for delivery of STCW courses for mariners
PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI– The H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) has been awarded ‘provisional approval’ to begin scheduling delivery of Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (Basic STCW) courses at its Paraquita Bay campus.
