BFEC becomes first ‘consumer generator’ in VI- BVIEC

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- History was created on Friday, December 4, 2020, in the [British] Virgin Islands when the Bregado Flax Educational Centre (BFEC) in Virgin Gorda became the first entity in the Territory with renewable energy generation facility to be “grid-tied” to the BVI Electricity Corporation’s (BVIEC) electrical grid.
