VI delegation attends ‘inspirational’ Agriculture & Food Fair in USVI

Food Fair keeping VI culture alive – Hon. Walwyn
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – As dozens of vendors displayed their local food and beverages at the 2013 Cultural Food Fair today, August 2, 2013 Minister for Education and Culture Hon. Myron V. Walwyn reflected that this was one avenue through which Virgin Islands Culture is being kept alive. The event was held at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park.
2012 Farmers’ Week ends on high note – Agri. Dept
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Though the participation by farmers for 2012 Farmers’ Week on Tortola was notably poor with some boycotting the event and others who attended expressing concern for something to be done to improve it, the week of events has been declared a success overall by the Department of Agriculture.
