UPDATE: Premier Fahie calls for vigilance ahead of Tropical Cyclone
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- With the possibility that the Virgin Islands could feel some effects of a passing tropical cyclone, Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has urged the people of the Virgin Islands to be in a state of preparedness in the event of further development.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI– Two weather disturbances are being monitored in the Atlantic, the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) stated on August 9, 2020, adding that one was highlighted in its August 7, 2020, update and another just recently formed not too far from the African Coast.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Although no major damages were reported in the Virgin Islands following the passage of Potential Tropical Cyclone 9 late July 29, 2020, Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has urged the Territory to remain vigilant in the face of a global pandemic and an already active Atlantic Hurricane Season.
