‘Elusive scrubber must & will be installed’- Hon Malone
DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI- The incinerator at Pockwood Pond is back in operation after some six weeks of being non-functional and this is expected to reduce the frequent open fires and heavy air pollution.

SEA COWS BAY, Tortola, VI- Minister for Health and Social Development Hon Carvin Malone (AL) has said the long awaited scrubber is expected to be mounted at the Pockwood Pond incinerator in the first quarter of this year.
Scrubber not yet installed for new incinerator!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – At least one part of the newly functional incinerator has not yet been installed, and that is the scrubber, which is an air pollution control device that can be used to remove some particles and/or gases from waste facility’s exhaust steams.
